Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Egg, Rice, and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, SPHP rice, shallots, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp870 (3.01%) to Rp29,790 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply, down by Rp350 (1.6%) to Rp21,480 per kg.
