Banten Region Food Prices Friday (5/9), How Much is Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (5/9/2025) at 08.07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices were red cayenne pepper, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, large red chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), consumption sugar, milkfish, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Bulb garlic commodity surged the highest by Rp9,480 (26.69%) to Rp45,000 per kg. As for the price of fresh buffalo meat (local), it dropped the sharpest by Rp137,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
