Food Prices Today (03/12) in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Food Staple Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (3/12/2025) at 3:34 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chili, shallots, broiler chicken eggs, wheat flour, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp7,703 (12.78%) to Rp67,981 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices dropped the sharpest by Rp296 (0.56%) to Rp52,278 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,167 per kg (up 0.07%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,944 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,711 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,611 per kg (stable)
