Latest Food Prices in Indonesia: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (17/11/2025) at 09.13 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged cooking oil, red onion, fresh buffalo meat (local), red bird's eye chili, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at farmer level, consumption sugar, skipjack tuna, Minyakita (cooking oil), and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp1,846 (4.76%) to Rp40,633 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of consumption salt dropped the most by Rp296 (2.56%) to Rp11,267 per kg.
