Today's Food Price List in Banten: Chili and Onion Prices Rise (Friday, April 5, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (5/4/2024) at 13.10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,420 (14.88%) to Rp10,960 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,050 (11.67%) to Rp7,950 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,210 per kg (up 3.92%)
9. Milkfish: Rp32,590 per kg (up 1.02%)
