East Java Food Prices Tuesday (November 19th): Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (19/11/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, shallots, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp1,880 (6.38%) to Rp31,370 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp3,970 (11.94%) to Rp29,270 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,370 per kg (up 6.38%)
7. Mackerel: Rp29,270 per kg (down 11.94%)
8. Red Chilies: Rp25,420 per kg (down 11.77%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,330 per kg (down 0.08%)
10. Curly Red Chilies: Rp17,830 per kg (down 4.55%)
