Food Prices on Friday (October 17) in Jambi: Chicken Meat Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 17, 2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 commodities saw price increases and 10 saw decreases.

Commodities with increased prices include premium rice, red cayenne pepper, broiler chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulb, dried soybeans (imported), and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp706 (1.88%) to Rp38,324 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili experienced the sharpest decline of Rp5,666 (9.55%) to Rp53,667 per kg.
