Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Monday, April 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (1/4/2024) at 08.12 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, red chilies, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest by Rp9,050 (17.76%) to Rp60,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp2,750 (23.4%) to Rp9,000 per kg.

2. Curly Red Chilies: Rp60,000 per kg (up 17.76%)

4. Garlic Bulbs: Rp45,000 per kg (up 3.62%)
5. Broiler Chicken: Rp45,000 per kg (up 16.97%)
6. Milkfish: Rp45,000 per kg (up 10.0%)
7. Red Onion: Rp40,000 per kg (down 2.7%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp40,000 per kg (up 10.04%)
9. Mackerel: Rp38,000 per kg (up 6.98%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (down 8.38%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (down 0.53%)
