Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/7/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp6,260 (9.46%) to Rp72,410 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic cloves decreased the most by Rp1,400 (3.91%) to Rp34,390 per kg.
