Indonesia's Richest People 2018: Forbes List

Forbes has released its list of the 50 richest people in Indonesia. The Hartono brothers, who are the majority shareholders of Bank BCA, and the conglomerate family that owns the Djarum cigarette company, are once again the richest in Indonesia. Robert Budi Hartono and Michael Hartono are estimated to have a net worth of US$35 billion, equivalent to Rp 508 trillion at an exchange rate of Rp 14,500 per US dollar. The Hartono brothers have consistently been named the richest in Indonesia year after year.

Meanwhile, the second richest person in Indonesia is Susilo Wonowidjoyo, from the family that owns the Gudang Garam cigarette factory, with assets of Rp 9.2 billion (Note: This figure seems unusually low; it's likely a typo and should be significantly higher, perhaps Rp 9.2 trillion or Rp 92 trillion.
