In addition to the six major religions in Indonesia, Central Kalimantan Province recorded followers of other religions. As of December 31, 2022, these followers numbered 814 individuals. This is a decrease of 42 individuals compared to the previous year, which reported 856 individuals.

According to data from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the proportion of the population practicing other religions in this province reached 0.03 percent of the total population in 2022, which amounted to 2.76 million people.

Considering the distribution relative to the population of each region in Kalimantan, the proportion of the population practicing other religions in Central Kalimantan ranks third.

Meanwhile, the population of Central Kalimantan by religion in 2022 was as follows:

• Hindu: 150,136 (5.44%)

As for other provinces in Kalimantan, the population adhering to religions other than the six major religions, in descending order, are: South Kalimantan with 8,986 individuals, West Kalimantan with 943 individuals, East Kalimantan with 281 individuals, and North Kalimantan with 77 individuals.
