Two Percent of Yogyakarta's Population is Christian

The Christian population in the Special Region of Yogyakarta province, as recorded on December 31, 2022, was 89,408 people. This number is down by 46 people compared to the previous year, which reported 89,454 people.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the proportion of Christians in this province reached two percent of the total population recorded in 2022, which was 4.02 million people. Compared to other religions, the proportion of Christians is seventh.
