According to the Middle Eastern media network Al Jazeera, as of March 4, 2026, attacks by the United States (US) and Israel have killed 1,045 Iranians.
"The deadliest single incident occurred in the city of Minab in southeastern Iran, where an attack on a girls' primary school took place," said Al Jazeera.
"Hossein Kermanpour, the head of public relations for the Iranian Ministry of Health, said the Israeli attack on the girls' school in Minab on Sunday killed about 180 children," they continued.
There were also many casualties recorded in Lebanon, at least reaching 50 people. According to Al Jazeera, the deaths in Lebanon were caused by Israeli airstrikes.
Israel attacked Lebanon after militant groups in that country, namely Hezbollah, launched rockets and drones into Israel in retaliation for the death of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, in this war.
Previously, the US and Israel attacked Iran since Saturday, February 28, 2026, on the accusation that Iran was developing a nuclear program that threatened the US and its allies.
Iran then launched counterattacks against Israel and US military bases scattered across the Middle East, and the war is still ongoing until now.
