This is the Reason Indonesian Citizens Agree to Boycott Israel-Affiliated Products in September 2025

According to a survey by Media Survei Nasional (Median), 80.2% of Indonesian citizens agree with the boycott of products affiliated with Israel.

This percentage consists of 50.5% strongly agreeing and 29.7% agreeing. Meanwhile, only 12.8% disagree, comprising 9.5% disagreeing and 3.3% strongly disagreeing.

Respondents who agree with boycotting Israeli-affiliated products have various reasons, the majority of which is to impose economic sanctions on the Israel-affiliated country.

Meanwhile, other significant reasons include a form of humanitarian solidarity and an effort to cut off economic support for Israel.

• Humanitarian solidarity: 18.8%
• Cut off economic support for Israel: 17.2%
• Effort to resolve the war: 10.7%
• Due to Israel's actions: 6.8%
• Psychological impact: 5.8%
• Deserves to be boycotted, a form of disappointment: 3.7%
• Poor product quality: 1.9%
• Form of religious solidarity: 1.7%
• Boycott as appropriate: 1.6%
• Support for Palestine: 0.4%

The survey was conducted online from September 8-13, 2025, involving 643 respondents. Questionnaires were distributed on Meta social media, targeting active users aged 17 and above. In its report, Median did not include the margin of error percentage.
