This figure represents an increase of approximately 413,000 people, or a growth of 0.8%, compared to 2024.
In 2025, the projected population of West Java is expected to comprise 25.68 million males (50.6%) and approximately 25.08 million females (49.4%).
By region, the largest population in West Java is projected to be in Bogor Regency, while the smallest is in Banjar City.
