Indonesia's national football team coach, Patrick Kluivert, has announced a provisional 27-player squad for the third round of the 2026 World Cup Asian Qualifiers Group C matches against Australia and Bahrain.
This list is provisional, pending the naturalization process of three football players: Dean Ruben James (Go Ahead Eagles), Joey Mathijs Pelupessy (Lommel), and Emil Audero Mulyadi (Palermo), who took their citizenship oaths on Monday, March 10, 2024.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir stated that Kluivert's initial provisional list resulted from discussions with two other coaches, Alex Pastoor and Danny Lanzaat.
"I believe the composition is balanced and comprises the best players in all sectors, including the planned addition of three newly naturalized players," Erick said in a statement released on the PSSI website on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
