2024 AFF Cup Group B Standings: Indonesia and Myanmar Draw

Group B standings of the 2024 AFF Cup changed after the Philippines and Vietnam drew 1-1 in the fourth matchday held at the Memorial Stadium, Manila, Philippines, on Wednesday (18/12/2024).

Initially, the Philippines took the lead with a goal scored by Javier Gayoso in the 68th minute. Vietnam then equalized through Doan Ngoc Tan's goal during injury time in the second half (90+7').

On the same day, Myanmar played Laos at Thuwunna Stadium, Yangon, resulting in a 3-2 victory for Myanmar. Myanmar's winning goals were scored by Lwin Moe Aung (32') and Win Naing Tun (87' and 90+3'). Laos managed to score two goals in return, through Kydavone Souvanny (77') and Chony Waenpaseuth (81').

This result puts Vietnam firmly at the top of the Group B standings of the 2024 AFF Cup with 7 points from three matches.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian national team remains in second place, tied with Myanmar, both having 4 points.
