What are the fees for the three projects at the Ministry of Religious Affairs?

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that the General Chairperson of the Golkar Youth Wing, Fahd El Fouz, actively participated in the corruption of three projects at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. In the verdict for the three defendants in the corruption case involving three projects at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the 2011-2012 fiscal year, Fahd was mentioned as having solicited fees from the winning bidders.

Fahd allegedly demanded a 23 percent fee from the value of the 2011 Quran procurement project (Rp 22 billion) from the director of PT Adhi Aksara Abadi, and a 15 percent fee from PT Sinergi Pustaka Indonesia for the Quran procurement project worth Rp 50 billion in 2012. Fahd was also mentioned as demanding a 16 percent fee from PT Batu Karya Mas for the junior high school (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) computer laboratory project worth Rp 31.2 billion.

Previously, the KPK had brought three individuals to trial in the corruption case involving three Ministry of Religious Affairs projects in the 2011-2012 fiscal year. These three individuals were Zulkarnaen Djabar, Ahmad Djauhari, and Dendy Prasetya.
