According to World of Football, three German players are in the top 10 list of World Cup top scorers: Miroslav Klose, Gerd Müller, and Jürgen Klinsmann. Klose played in four World Cups between 2002 and 2014, scoring 16 goals in 24 matches for Germany in the final rounds.
Brazilian players are also included in the list of top scorers; this list includes Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima and Pelé. Ronaldo scored 15 goals in 19 appearances with Brazil in 3 World Cup events.
However, Just Fontaine holds a unique record that no other player has surpassed: scoring 13 goals in a single World Cup tournament in 1958. Just Fontaine scored 13 goals in 6 matches with France in the World Cup in Sweden.
Then, Sándor Kocsis from Hungary scored 11 goals in 5 matches in the 1954 World Cup held in Switzerland.
