2023 Update: Tasikmalaya Regency Population: 1.96 Million

Tasikmalaya Regency's population was recorded at 1.96 million in 2023. This figure increased compared to 2023 and is higher than in December 2021. Over the past five years, the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of the population in this region was 2.23%. This growth is higher than the growth in the previous five years, which was recorded at 0.26%.

Compared to other regencies/cities in West Java province, Tasikmalaya Regency ranks 11th in terms of population. Looking at it by island, this regency/city ranks 21st.
