Francesco Bagnaia of the Ducati Lenovo team won the San Marino MotoGP race held at the Misano Circuit, Italy, on Sunday (4/9/2022).
The Italian rider crossed the finish line after 28 laps with a time of 41 minutes 43.1990 seconds.
With this achievement, Bagnaia gained an additional 25 points and climbed to 2nd place in the overall MotoGP standings after the 14th round.
This is also Bagnaia's fourth consecutive victory, following his wins at the Austrian, Dutch, and British MotoGP races.
Bagnaia, also known as Pecco, finished 0.034 seconds ahead of Enea Bastianini, the Gresini Racing rider who came in second in the San Marino MotoGP. Maverick Viñales came in third, followed by Luca Marini and Fabio Quartararo.
