According to a report by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), the number of suspects in narcotics and illicit drug cases in Indonesia has decreased over the past three years.

In 2021, the number of national narcotics suspects was 1,184, a 9.41% decrease compared to the previous year's 1,307.

According to the BNN report, the total value of seized narcotics assets during this period reached Rp1.09 trillion.

The seized narcotics assets consisted of 28.47 million grams of marijuana, 14.38 million grams of methamphetamine, 5.02 million ecstasy pills, and 2.37 million other types of drugs.
