Banjarbaru City ranked first with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at 6.43 per 100,000 people per week. The number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in this city has not improved, showing an increase compared to the previous week, which recorded 1.79 cases per 100,000 people per week.
The same condition occurred in Banjarmasin City, which recorded 4.03 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people. In this city, the number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which was only 2.08 cases per 100,000 people per week. Balangan follows, recording 1.49 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people.
Tanah Laut and Banjar are next, recording 1.14 and 1 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 case per 100,000 people per week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 1.2 cases per 100,000 people per week.
