The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least three regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 5.29 percent. This is a decrease compared to last week's figure of 6.23 percent, data as of Sunday, December 25, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 51.27 percent are Fakfak, North Musi Rawas, Tulang Bawang, Muna, and Kotamobagu, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 64.71 percent, 52.5 percent, and 51.27 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 38 regencies/cities, while 100 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, North Musi Rawas, and Tulang Bawang, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 64.71 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
