- DKI Jakarta saw an increase of 1,216 cases
DKI Jakarta is in first place. The increase in cases here was recorded at 1,216 cases, or a 0.09 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which had reached 1.39 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in DKI Jakarta is now 1.39 million.
Unfortunately, in addition to recording a high number of new cases, DKI Jakarta also recorded four deaths. Thus, the total number of deaths during the Covid-19 pandemic in DKI Jakarta has reached 15,491. The seven-day positive rate is at 19.96 percent, and the BOR for Covid-19 hospitals is reported at 12.63 percent.
- West Java saw an increase of 605 cases
West Java is in second place. The increase in Covid-19 cases here was 605 cases. The seven-day positive rate in this region is recorded at 11.27 percent. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested for Covid-19 in this province is recorded at 58.99 per week.
- Banten saw an increase of 348 cases
Banten is in third place. The increase in cases here was recorded at 348 cases, or a 0.11 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which had reached 328,420. With this addition, the total number of cases in this province is now 328,760.
In addition to recording the highest increase in cases, Banten also recorded one death. Thus, the total number of deaths during the Covid-19 pandemic in Banten has reached 2,947.
The trend of case development in this region over the past week has decreased. This can be seen from the lower confirmation rate per 100,000 population compared to the previous week.
Similarly, the positive rate in this region is recorded as lower than before. According to the Ministry of Health, the BOR for Covid-19 hospitals in this province is recorded at 11.05 percent.
- East Java saw an increase of 271 cases

- Central Java saw an increase of 96 cases
Next is Central Java. The increase in Covid-19 cases here was 96 cases. The seven-day positive rate in this region is recorded at 3.67 percent. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested for Covid-19 in this province is recorded at 28,065 per week.
- Bali saw an increase of 57 cases
Bali is in sixth place. The increase in cases here was recorded at 57 cases, or a 0.03 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which had reached 166,020. With this addition, the total number of cases in this province is now 166,078.
Bali also reported three deaths today. Thus, the total number of deaths during the Covid-19 pandemic in Bali has reached 4,699. The seven-day positive rate in Bali is 7.69 percent, while the BOR for Covid-19 hospitals is reported at 9.17 percent.
- Yogyakarta saw an increase of 40 cases
