Several districts/cities in East Kalimantan province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Mahakam Ulu Regency, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, and Paser Regency.
As of yesterday, in the vaccination program, these three regencies had only completed 475,320 second doses out of the expected target of 783,310 vaccine recipients.
Mahakam Ulu Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, for the second dose vaccination, this region has recorded 55.02%. This is the lowest compared to the other 10 districts/cities. As for the first dose achievement, as of yesterday, 80.23% has been achieved, or 36,559 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city is planned to target 25,524 participants.
Next is Kutai Kartanegara Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is the second lowest. With a vaccine target of 548,230 participants, 60.77% or 333,140 participants have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 77.55%, or 777,930 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kutai Kartanegara was 2,130 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 105,660 doses.
Another is Paser Regency, ranked third. With a vaccine target of 209,560 participants, 61.15% or 128,140 participants have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Paser was 1,051 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 49,158 doses.
As for the vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in East Kalimantan has reached 95.19%, or 2.74 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination is recorded at 74.19%, reaching 2.13 million vaccine recipients.
