The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.38 per 100,000 population per week, are East Seram, West Sumba, South West Aceh, Central Aceh, and Pematangsiantar City, with respective rates of 0.87, 0.73, 0.63, 0.45, and 0.38 per 100,000 population per week.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. Zero regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, and one regency/city recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include East Seram, West Sumba, and South West Aceh, with respective rates of 0.87, 0.73, and 0.63 per 100,000 population per week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
