Several districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi province still record relatively low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Muna Regency, East Kolaka Regency, and North Buton Regency.
As of yesterday, these three regions have only completed 156,080 second doses out of the targeted 308,520 vaccine recipients in their vaccination program.
Muna Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, only 49.79% of the second-dose vaccination target has been achieved in this region, the lowest among the other 17 districts/cities. The first dose has reached 81.26%, or 219,750 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 163,270 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Muna last week was 263 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 6,460 doses.
Next is East Kolaka Regency. This region has the second-lowest second-dose vaccination rate. With a target of 95,133 vaccine recipients, 51.1% or 48,616 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination rate is 66.45%, or 116,820 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in East Kolaka last week was 169 participants. The current vaccine stock is 18,940 doses.
North Buton Regency is ranked third. With a target of 50,119 vaccine recipients, 52.24% or 26,180 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in North Buton last week was 71 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 8,417 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination rate in Southeast Sulawesi has reached 77.97%, or 1.79 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination rate is 56.56%, reaching 1.3 million vaccine recipients.
