According to a Microsoft survey, 51% of Gen Z respondents stated they are willing to do hybrid working in the Metaverse within the next two years. This proportion is the largest compared to other generations.

Furthermore, 48% of millennial respondents are willing to do hybrid working in the Metaverse. Meanwhile, only 28% of Boomer respondents are willing to do the same.

This survey was conducted on 31,000 people across 31 countries between March 2020 and February 2022. Microsoft also analyzed productivity signals in Microsoft 365 and workforce trends on LinkedIn.
