The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 6.1 percent. This average is down from 6.9 percent last week, according to data from Monday, December 19, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 51.35 percent are Musi Rawas Utara, Fakfak, Kolaka, Muna, and Tulang Bawang, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 52.63 percent, 52.5 percent, and 51.35 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 51 regencies/cities, while 106 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Musi Rawas Utara, Fakfak, and Kolaka, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 52.63 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
