The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 1.97 percent. This is down from last week's 2.19 percent, based on data from Sunday, April 2, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 24.6 percent, are Fakfak, Muna, East Manggarai, Kotabaru, and West Pasaman, with values of 100 percent, 52.5 percent, 37.5 percent, 25 percent, and 24.6 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 20 regencies/cities, while 50 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Muna, and East Manggarai, with BORs of 100 percent, 52.5 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
