The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 135 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 2.06 percent (data as of Sunday, April 2, 2023).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 26.67 percent are Natuna, Lamandau, Purworejo, Banjarnegara, and Temanggung, with values of 66.67 percent, 28.57 percent, 28 percent, 27.27 percent, and 26.67 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 43 districts/cities, while 29 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Natuna, Lamandau, and Kepulauan Selayar, with seven-day positivity rates of 66.67 percent, 28.57 percent, and 25 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
