The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 128 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.02 percent as of Monday, December 5, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are Lombok Barat (30.38 percent), Metro City (25.27 percent), Pasuruan City (20 percent), Karimun (20 percent), and Ciamis (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily increase in tracing compared to previous days was recorded in 29 districts/cities, while 46 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (30.38 percent), Metro City (25.27 percent), and Karimun (20 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
