However, despite being the highest, the number of COVID-19 transmissions in South Jakarta has decreased compared to the previous week, which was 194.69 cases per 100,000 residents per week.
Central Jakarta is next in second place, recording 152.56 weekly confirmed cases per 100,000 residents. Compared to the previous week, which reached 170.07 cases, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases this week is lower.
Rounding out the top five, besides the two areas above, are East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta, recording 109.93, 101.91, and 98.79 weekly confirmed cases, respectively.
Other information from today's daily COVID-19 data statistics shows that 227 regencies/cities in Indonesia recorded a higher increase compared to the previous week, and 122 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly confirmations than the previous week.
Furthermore, 159 regencies/cities in Indonesia, according to the latest developments, reported no confirmed COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents per week.
