A further breakdown shows that West Java had 70 one-star hotels, 124 two-star hotels, 220 three-star hotels, 123 four-star hotels, and 15 five-star hotels.
Bali ranked second with 434 star-rated hotels, comprising 17 one-star hotels, 42 two-star hotels, 153 three-star hotels, 139 four-star hotels, and 83 five-star hotels.
Next was DKI Jakarta with 402 star-rated hotels, detailed as 24 one-star hotels, 85 two-star hotels, 169 three-star hotels, 71 four-star hotels, and 53 five-star hotels.
West Sulawesi had the lowest number nationally, with only 5 star-rated hotel businesses.
