As of Saturday, August 13, 2022, North Kalimantan Province has achieved 85.81% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 530,020 vaccine recipients out of a target of 617,700 people. Meanwhile, 71.84% of the target has been reached for the second dose.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 7,091 individuals. For the first dose, 7,091 people were vaccinated (126.61% of the target), and for the second dose, 123.89% of the target was achieved, or 8,785 individuals.
For public sector workers, the target was 60,230 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 51,590 individuals (85.66% of the target), and the second dose reached 79.49%, or 47,880 individuals.
For the elderly, the target was 33,250 individuals. The first dose was administered to 27,920 individuals (83.95% of the target). The second dose reached only 61.29%, or 20,380 individuals.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 367,210 individuals. The first dose was administered to 305,210 individuals (84.02% of the target). The second dose reached only 70.18%, or 254,500 individuals.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 77,890 individuals. The first dose was administered to 69,890 individuals (89.73% of the target). The second dose reached 77%, or 59,980 individuals.
