Indonesia's Active Covid-19 Cases Ranked 12th in Asia

As of Monday, September 12, 2022, there were 33,946 active Covid-19 cases in Indonesia. With this number, Worldometer ranks Indonesia 12th in Asia for active Covid-19 cases. Indonesia's position today has risen compared to the previous day, when it was ranked 11th. However, overall, the number of cases in Indonesia and most other countries worldwide has been declining, and the number of active Covid-19 cases is also very low.

Globally, active Covid-19 cases in Asia account for 38.15 percent of the total cases across all countries.

Meanwhile, South Korea has the highest number of active Covid-19 cases in Asia, recording 1.34 million cases. Japan is second with 1.09 million active Covid-19 cases.

Vietnam is third, with 1.07 million active Covid-19 cases.

Following are Taiwan with 621,990 active Covid-19 cases, Hong Kong with 271,010 active Covid-19 cases, and Lebanon with 114,440 active Covid-19 cases.

In Southeast Asia, Indonesia is ranked third. Vietnam, with 1.07 million cases, is ranked first; Singapore, with 75,752 cases, is second; Malaysia, with 26,339 cases, is fourth; and the Philippines, with 25,684 cases, is fifth.
