As of Friday, April 28, 2023, 68.74 million doses of booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This figure represents 37.86 percent of the national COVID-19 vaccination target of 234.66 million doses.
West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationwide, with 15.47 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster shots administered, with 1.59 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million), Bekasi City (979,790), Bekasi Regency (967,750), Cianjur Regency (912,620), and Bandung City (897,990).
East Java is second nationally with 9.38 million booster doses administered. Surabaya City has the highest number of recipients within East Java, with 1.31 million doses.
Central Java is third with 8.57 million booster doses administered. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.35 million, 4.2 million, and 2.99 million booster doses administered respectively.
