As of Tuesday, December 7, 2021, East Kalimantan Province has achieved a 74.84% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 2.15 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.87 million people. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 54.56% of the target.
By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 28,220 recipients. For the first dose, 28,220 people were vaccinated (140.02% of the target), and for the second dose, 135.65% of the target was achieved, or 38,280 people.
Public sector workers were targeted at 284,190 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 376,390 individuals (132.44% of the target), and the second dose reached 120.19% of the target, with 341,570 doses administered.
The elderly target was 189,530 individuals. For the first dose, 98,310 individuals received the vaccine (51.87% of the target). The second dose reached only 39.1% of the target, or 74,100 individuals.
The target for the vulnerable general public was 1.97 million individuals. For the first dose, 1.16 million individuals were vaccinated (67.21% of the target). The second dose reached only 44.08% of the target, or 719,960 individuals.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 397,460 individuals. For the first dose, 309,670 individuals were vaccinated (77.91% of the target). The second dose reached 61.36% of the target, with 243,890 doses administered.
