As of Saturday, August 13, 2022, West Kalimantan Province has achieved 78.78% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 3.49 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.43 million people. Meanwhile, 64.28% of the target has been reached for the second dose.
By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 25,020 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 25,020 individuals (140.84% of the target), and for the second dose, 137.79% or 34,480 individuals were vaccinated.
For public sector workers, the target was 291,650 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 240,300 individuals (82.39% of the target), and the second dose reached 77.23%, or 225,240 individuals.
For the elderly, the target was 350,690 individuals. The first dose was administered to 219,550 individuals (62.61% of the target). The second dose reached 47.54%, or 166,710 individuals.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.64 million individuals. The first dose was administered to 2.13 million individuals (82.11% of the target). The second dose reached 67.25%, or 1.74 million individuals.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 569,700 individuals. The first dose was administered to 487,160 individuals (85.51% of the target). The second dose reached 72.99%, or 415,800 individuals.
