Papua Barat's Vaccination Coverage Reached 32.27 Percent of the Target as of Sunday, October 10, 2021

As of Sunday, October 10, 2021, West Papua Province has achieved a 32.27% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 255,780 individuals vaccinated out of a target of 797,400. The second dose vaccination rate reached 20.53% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 8,564 individuals. For the first dose, 8,564 people were vaccinated (117.13% of the target), and for the second dose, 8,958 people were vaccinated (104.6% of the target).

For public sector workers, the target was 116,330 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 94,650 individuals (81.36% of the target), and the second dose reached 69,080 individuals (59.38% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 50,830 individuals. For the first dose, 5,840 individuals were vaccinated (11.76% of the target). For the second dose, 3,980 individuals were vaccinated (8.02% of the target).

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 493,760 individuals. For the first dose, 123,880 individuals were vaccinated (27.37% of the target). For the second dose, 63,030 individuals were vaccinated (14.82% of the target).

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 127,910 individuals. For the first dose, 10,100 individuals were vaccinated (8.12% of the target). For the second dose, 7,491 individuals were vaccinated (6.03% of the target).
