Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest Percentage of Suspect Examinations per Week (Saturday, February 26, 2022)

To suppress the spread of Covid-19 in regions, currently 202 regencies/cities are aggressively conducting weekly suspect testing percentages above the national average. Data as of Saturday, February 26, 2022, shows the national average testing rate at 20.05 percent. This suspect testing data is calculated based on the number of suspected individuals and close contacts compared to the number of people tested in each region, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.

The top five, starting from the highest, are Pangandaran, Tana Tidung, Samosir, Dairi, and Ende, with ratios of 77.02 percent, 71.92 percent, 64.52 percent, 63.13 percent, and 63.03 percent, respectively.

Pangandaran is ranked first. With a population of 407,350, the weekly suspect testing percentage is recorded at 77.02 percent. The latest positive rate is 5.58 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.

Next is Tana Tidung. The population in this region is recorded at 30,725. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect testing percentage is 71.92 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 30.18 percent, or higher than the previous week's ratio.

Furthermore, the weekly suspect testing percentage in Samosir is recorded at 64.52 percent, Dairi recorded 63.13 percent, and Ende recorded 63.03 percent.
