Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 21,780 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 21,780 people (123.25 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 116.06 percent or 25,280 people were vaccinated.
For public service personnel, the target was 194,980 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 186,520 people (95.66 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 82.5 percent, or 160,860 people.
For the elderly, the target was 259,460 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 184,850 people (71.24 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 51.23 percent, or 132,940 people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.36 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 1.04 million people (76.34 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 52.17 percent, or 708,090 people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target in this region was 245,340 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 231,160 people (94.22 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 71.11 percent, or 174,460 people.
