The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.25 percent. This is a decrease compared to last week's figure of 2.32 percent, data as of Friday, February 10, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 37.5 percent are Fakfak, Bima, Muna, Balangan, and East Manggarai, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 52.5 percent, 50 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 15 regencies/cities, while 40 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Bima, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
