The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 48 districts/cities with a Covid-19 agglomeration death rate above the national average, currently recorded at 0.01 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Friday, June 17, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest Covid-19 agglomeration death rates, exceeding 0.28 per 100,000 population per week, are Lampung Barat (0.97 per 100,000 population per week), Bulungan (0.74 per 100,000 population per week), Pangkal Pinang City (0.46 per 100,000 population per week), Tasikmalaya City (0.44 per 100,000 population per week), and Manggarai (0.28 per 100,000 population per week).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the Covid-19 agglomeration death rate in most districts/cities outside Java. Four districts/cities recorded a higher daily Covid-19 agglomeration death rate than before, while one district/city recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest Covid-19 agglomeration death rates include Lampung Barat (0.97 per 100,000 population per week), Bulungan (0.74 per 100,000 population per week), and Pangkal Pinang City (0.46 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
