Indonesia's Covid-19 cases increased by 21,380 today, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 5.77 million as of Monday, March 7, 2022. The five provinces with the highest increases today are West Java, Central Java, DKI Jakarta, East Java, and Yogyakarta.

1. West Java saw an increase of 4,368 cases

West Java ranks first. The increase in cases here was 4,368, a 0.42% increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total of 1.04 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in West Java is now 1.05 million. Unfortunately, in addition to recording a high number of new cases, West Java also recorded 22 deaths. Thus, the total number of deaths in West Java during the Covid-19 pandemic has reached 15,264. The seven-day positive rate in West Java is 16.59%, while the BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate) for Covid-19 hospitals is reported at 38%.
2. Central Java saw an increase of 4,154 cases
