A JakPat survey reveals a series of activities that Indonesians commonly do in their free time. The results show that 70% of respondents, or the majority of Indonesians, most enjoy watching films.
Listening to music is also a highly favored activity. A recorded 68% of respondents listen to music. Furthermore, 51% of respondents enjoy watching series/dramas for leisure.
Of those who watch series/dramas, 90% have watched Korean series/dramas, and 82% stated that they enjoy or regularly watch Korean dramas within the last 6 months.
Additionally, 40% of respondents enjoy reading online news in their free time. Others pursue other hobbies and read books/comics online during their leisure time.
Other activities respondents engage in during their free time include watching vlogs, watching news, reading print books/comics, and reading newspapers, with percentages as shown in the graph.
This survey involved 2,474 respondents from across Indonesia, filtered down to 1,025 respondents based on the criteria of having watched Korean dramas in the last 6 months. Data collection was conducted from June 24th to July 4th, 2022.
