The highest increase in confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Central Kalimantan is currently in Barito Utara, with 3.76 cases per 100,000 population per week as of Wednesday, September 28, 2022. This figure is 1.1 cases higher than the second-highest region.
The COVID-19 transmission situation in Barito Utara does not appear to be improving. This is indicated by the number of cases this week, which is still higher than the previous week's figure of 1.51 cases per 100,000 population per week.
Palangkaraya is in second place, recording a weekly confirmation rate of two cases per 100,000 population. Compared to last week's 6.42 cases, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases this week is lower.
