The top five, starting with the highest, are Balikpapan City, Teluk Wondama, South Jakarta City, Central Jakarta City, and Supiori, with 11.23, 11.23, 10.75, 10.74, and 10.68 tests per 1,000 people per week, respectively.
Balikpapan City ranks first. With a population of 646,020, the number of people tested was 11.23 per 1,000 people per week. The latest positive rate is 0.11 percent, down from the previous week.
Next is Teluk Wondama. With a population of 34,898, the number of people tested was 11.23 per 1,000 people per week. The positive rate is 0 percent, also down from the previous week.
COVID-19 testing in South Jakarta City recorded 10.75 per 1,000 people per week, Central Jakarta City recorded 10.74, and Supiori recorded 10.68.
In anticipation of the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on national COVID-19 data, 325 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of daily tests compared to the previous period. Meanwhile, 61 regencies/cities recorded a lower number of tests compared to the previous week.
