The top five, starting with the highest number of specimens examined per week, are Pasuruan (998 specimens), Mimika (998 specimens), Serang City (937 specimens), East Lombok (885 specimens), and Ternate City (875 specimens).
Pasuruan ranks first, with 998 specimens examined per week. The latest positive rate is 0.78 percent, an increase compared to the previous week.
Next is Mimika, with a population of 221,810. In efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, 998 specimens were examined per week. The positive rate is 0.43 percent, a decrease compared to the previous week.
Serang City recorded 937 specimens examined per week, East Lombok 885 specimens per week, and Ternate City 875 specimens per week.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 120 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher daily number of specimens examined than before. Meanwhile, 206 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of specimens examined compared to the previous week.
